The prices on the site include VAT but not delivery. The delivery charge will be displayed on the confirmation page at the checkout.
We currently use a third party carrier – Interlink Express - to do our main deliveries.
Standard orders are for 3-5 working days. The basic delivery charge is £5.95 for parcels under 5kgs to mainland UK addresses. The delivery charge is automatically calculated based on the weight of the item(s). We can only deliver on Monday to Friday, during normal office hours. Special deliveries can be arranged for Saturdays or before 12, for example, but extra charges will apply. We will contact you to discuss the extra charge before sending your order. You will receive an email confirming the day of delivery from Interlink, as well as an estimate of the delivery time on the day. The current charges are:
5-10kgs - £10.95
10-20kgs - £17.95
20-30kgs - £25.95
30-40kgs - £35.00
Deliveries to all the outer UK Isles & Northern Ireland
The basic charge for goods over 3kgs is £12.00 with a surcharge of 65p/kg on each kilo over 10kgs. You as the customer need to select this option. If you do not choose the correct option, we reserve the right to contact you in order to take the extra charge before goods can be despatched.
Items of 2kgs or less can be sent to the EEC countries for £15 or less. For items over 2kgs we can send up to 30kgs to EEC countries for between £20-£48 via Interlink Express. Depending on the country of destination, additional kgs are charged at between £1.75 & £4.15 per kg.
Mirrors and glass fireguards require specialist packaging. The delivery prices are calculated individually to reflect this.
If you are not happy with the delivery charge that appears, please contact us as we would not want to lose your order. Where possible we will try to reach a mutually satisfactory compromise.
Faulty or damaged goods
When an item is delivered to you, you will need to ‘sign for it.’ Ideally you should check the item before signing. However, if this is not possible, make sure that you write ‘unchecked’ on the signature slip.
In the event of items being damaged you will have a number of choices:
1. Ideally & provided we have the item in stock, we will arrange for the damaged item to be collected & a replacement delivered simultaneously, on a day to suit you.
2. If we do not have a replacement item we can either collect the damaged item & agree to either send the replacement item at a later date or process a full refund for the goods & delivery charge.
3. If the damage is small & you are able to send us an image, we can give you the option of keeping the item for a discounted price. If this is agreed, we will simply refund the agreed amount to the card on which you made the original payment.
